[Bazezone - radio tune]

excellent

you may be the next great ng audio portaler. I mean, the synths are really refined sounding, the drums fit and are used to move the song along, everything has a coherent style, and it is very dancable, (which is what i assume you were aiming for).
unless this was just made from prepackaged loops, in which case make your own stuff. i hope for the portals sake it isn't

it seems more like a hip hop thing. i like the orchestral sound of it, and the organ thing. sort of like amon tobin, and that's a HUGE complement. well composed and implemented. i can't tell if it's looping or not. keep up with this special flavor, the originality will help you stand out. reminds me for some reason of monolake. perhaps it's the bass. anyways, this song is well constructed and produced. The only thing its missing is some sort of memorable melody line.
also, if it's supposed to be trance, it needs that pumping bass drum. overall, great work.

so, i saw that u used garageband on another review and got all excited cuz that's what i use (along with a korg amk2 and a really old yamaha) so i had to check out your stuff. your lucky, cuz i almost just typed that "i had to check out your STIFF." anyway, this is pretty sweet, and the organization is clear. the instruments sound kinda fakish, but you can't help tha. I like how you kept with the same melody the whole time instead of wandering around like so many other people on NG do. I also dig the style a mix between downtempo and rock. rock on!

first, thanx for ur review.
second, this is some pretty good stuff. it is very clear and well executed and timed. My only complaint is that theres not a whole lot of direction, it just wanders around, and the instruments are kind of fakish sounding, though that prolly isn't your fault. tasty.

Thanx for the review XD! I'll try to work on the direction part a little. The reason for the fake sounding innstruments is because I use Garage Band and being a free program the sound quality isn't the greatest. I'm going to equip myself with some jampacks soon and those actually sound really good so expect better in the future!!

review for all your stuff

im just talking about all your songs here cuz its easier. I'm not going to beat around the bush here; you got some serious talent. You could probably get a job for video game music right now, judging from this stuff. The melodies are nice but not pushy, the harmony works for the whole background effect, all the instruments are smooth and refined. You also show your ability to have different emotions, and even conflicting emotions in each song. You should try making a non loop song. ya know, one thats about 3-4 minutes, with a beginning and end? THAT I would look forward to.

Now check out my stuff (if you do, listen to warmth. I hope it doesn't seem like im reviewing you just to get reviewed, i sincerely like your loops.)

well, this is definitely not 'gayish'. I could see it as a background to some space game where you have to ride around and collect moon chips or something. nice fat sounds. the only reason i gave you a 9 is cuz i feel like ive been giving everything 10s

Well, the bellish things near the end were pretty sweet and the
C-C-B-BA-A-AB-B- melody thing was coolio, but it got kind of repetitive. The overall effect of it worked even if it was a little empty. if you added more countermelodies and such i would have given it a 10

Oh, and it's AUDITORY shittery.

pretty good.

The pieces of music that this song is constructed out of are really good, and they fit together well, it's just that the song needs a little more structure than the parts just coming in and out semi-randomly. It's pretty sweet though.
