cool? yes!

very weird indeed. the beginning gets the listener interested, and then dissonant loops take in from there. I will say that this is a very good example of experimental/minimal music. the pieces themselves are very well made, and cohesive, but the structure of the song needs direction, no matter how weird the song is supposed to be. I'll give you a 4 kay?

awesomeness? yes!

generally, i don't really like trance music as much as other electronic music, but this manages to stand out because of how it surberbly varies on one melodic theme. Its rare that you hear such cool musicality and great production in one song. five.

this is really cool and fun. I have never heard anything quite like this, and believe me, i've heard a lot. it can be danced to, and farmed to! the instruments really fit the style. now that i think about it this isn't unlike fingerbib by aphex twin.

nice downtempo track

this sounds really professional, which means you either spent a lot of time on it or used loops. Since you seem to be pretty big in the portal, i'll assume youre all original. It make me think of rain and people walking down streets at night with the mist being illumated by streetlights. All fits together and rocks. (check out my stuff?)

excellent

you may be the next great ng audio portaler. I mean, the synths are really refined sounding, the drums fit and are used to move the song along, everything has a coherent style, and it is very dancable, (which is what i assume you were aiming for).
unless this was just made from prepackaged loops, in which case make your own stuff. i hope for the portals sake it isn't

pretty cool

reminds me for some reason of monolake. perhaps it's the bass. anyways, this song is well constructed and produced. The only thing its missing is some sort of memorable melody line.
also, if it's supposed to be trance, it needs that pumping bass drum. overall, great work.

so, i saw that u used garageband on another review and got all excited cuz that's what i use (along with a korg amk2 and a really old yamaha) so i had to check out your stuff. your lucky, cuz i almost just typed that "i had to check out your STIFF." anyway, this is pretty sweet, and the organization is clear. the instruments sound kinda fakish, but you can't help tha. I like how you kept with the same melody the whole time instead of wandering around like so many other people on NG do. I also dig the style a mix between downtempo and rock. rock on!

har, thanks for the review, glad you liked the song. I'm trying really hard to get the instruments to sound more real, but it's hard. I'll have to make sure to check you're stuff out. I like it when people use garage band :O

first, thanx for ur review.
second, this is some pretty good stuff. it is very clear and well executed and timed. My only complaint is that theres not a whole lot of direction, it just wanders around, and the instruments are kind of fakish sounding, though that prolly isn't your fault. tasty.

Thanx for the review XD! I'll try to work on the direction part a little. The reason for the fake sounding innstruments is because I use Garage Band and being a free program the sound quality isn't the greatest. I'm going to equip myself with some jampacks soon and those actually sound really good so expect better in the future!!
